Christmas!!

Well we just finished spending our first Christmas with Ali. I have got to say it is so much more fun having a baby around to celebrate with. I know she will never really remember it but we will so I did have fun buying her presents and putting her in cute little outfits!

Christmas was quite low key as we spent Christmas Eve with my parents and Lamont and I opened our stockings for each other. We had fun figuring out our own little family traditions. Christmas Day was spent with the whole family at my parents. Fun but exhausting it took two days of naps for all three of us to get back to normal!
On other news related to our family Ali saw the neurologist last month which went fairly well. After many tests she has no reason to believe that Ali will face any of the possible neurological complications that could come along with this condition. She is advanced on all of her milestones so she will be sent for a MRI in a few months and as long as no fluid is found around the spine she will no longer need neurological follow up and strictly be a orthopedic case. So now we wait for that referral along with the orthopedic referral which should all be in the coming months.

In other news Lamont has gotten a position with Child and Family Services that he will start on January 11th. This is great news for us as it's with the government which brings on better benefits, stability and wages. He will basically be doing exactly what he has been doing but now through the government and his schedule will be quite different.

So as the New Year comes we know there are lots more changes and challenges that we will face but will take it one at a time and we know it will all work out. Thanks again for taking time to read this!
